Singing and performing her entire life, Whitney Nichole entered the world of songwriting three years ago, at the age of 21. In that time, she has played numerous shows all over NYC as part of the band Socially Irresponsible and her latest band, Whitney and the Tuesdays. Before that, Whitney Nichole attended Yale University, where she joined Mixed Company, a co-ed a cappella group, and Whim 'n Rhythm, the exclusive all-senior women's ensemble. While at Yale, Whitney toured extensively, performing in England, Spain, Ireland, Japan and all throughout the United States. With these groups, she recorded three albums, Waiting for Thursday (Whim 'n Rhythm 2005), Trespassing (Mixed Co. 2003) and Two Steps (Mixed Co. 2005) for which she received critical acclaim. This Winter, Whitney Nichole will be recording on her first EP, set for release in mid 2008.
