  The first one was a great album, for me Argus was superior by a considerable margin. It was not record of the year in 1974 for nothing.

  No Wishbone Ash album can compare to their very first one. The song 'Handy' is a gorgeous blend of jazz and rock.

  This Saturday 17th May I'm going to see Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash play near Rotherham. They are going to play the entire Argus album apparently. I am seriously excited!

  Saw them last night and they were brilliant. 15 minute version of Phoenix, vas dis with a great drum solo and storming finale of Blowin free. Only Andy Powell nowadays but a great gig nonetheless.

  Most people I have met in the last 30 years have never heard a Wishbone Ash song. The greatest secret that we fans have. Argus was great and so was There's the Rub. And yeah Error of My Ways was a great song...first song of theirs I ever heard.

  Ah, awesome. My mum's favourite band. Saw them in Tavistock. Don't like their new stuff, but Argus is one of the few near-perfect albums out there. Every song is unique and brilliant and impossible to skip. Errors of My Way is also beautiful.
