Wood In Di Fire rock the dancehall with Jamaican jazz and heavy reggae grooves! Musicians from various Berlin bands mix Reggae, Jazz, Ska, Latin, Soul and Dancehall and create a style which leaves a lot of space for improvisations and unexpected turns.

It all began as a jam session but now, after several tours and recordings Wood In Di Fire have evolved into a "real" band with a tight rhythm section and brilliant horns. But the session idea is still alive: Guests regularly join the band to add their very own flavours. Wood In Di Fire have already prooven that they're able to put that down on CD. Their first album ¿Que Pasa? was listed in the critic's top ten 2003 of the german Reggae magazine Riddim.
