  In 1993 or 94 I was fortunate to see Yma in concert . It was standing room only at a tiny venue in South Beach,The Stephen Talk House. I had a table right in front of the stage.. People called out GODDESS!! when she came on stage assisted by a band member. She was wearing high heels with platforms and a wild hot pink dress. She joked " Please don't mind my lack of balance in these shoes. I broke a hip a few some months ago". Her voice was clear and strong. She performed for two hours. At the... More... People called out GODDESS!! when she came on stage assisted by a band member. She was wearing high heels with platforms and a wild hot pink dress. At the end roses were flying towards the stage.I got her autograph on a CD. However, it was stolen from my home during a party of mine.Thank you YMA for one of the most memorable concerts of my life.

  I grew up listening to Yma Sumac and she made a huge impression on me to last all my life, thank you Yma you are terrific......

  all four albums/cd's are pure gems..yeah gotta give her a go!!
