In the spring of 2003 Jesper Urban and Jesper Holm met a long way from home - at TT the Bears Place in Boston. Urban was touring with Boston based ’Dragstrip Courage’ and Holm was in the US to perform at several showcases with the danish pop act ’Envelope’. Holm knew Jesper and his brother Peter’s previous, quite succesful, project ’Porcelain’ very well – Urban had never heard about Holm. At the backstage room at TT the Bears Place Holm and Urban shared a bottle of single malt and discovered a mutual interest in rock’n’roll. Holm returned to Denmark the next day – Urban followed 6 months later. Back in Copenhagen Urban and his brother Peter continued working with Porcelain, but Peter had a vision about doing music with a far more bashing attitude than Porcelain had to offer. So; they released a final album and Porcelain broke up and the Urban brothers started looking for a new band. Holm was called in for audition. More than 50 bass players came in for audition, without any luck – but finally Praestbro came out of nowwhere and made the quartet complete.
