Aspen is a vocal harmony intensive band. In its short history the band has gone from playing local bars to becoming a support act for such bands as Ambrosia, Eddie Money, Leon Russell, Eric Burdon , Spencer Davis Group, Colin Hay of Men at Work, Robin Trower , Venice and many others. Aspen has performed as headliner and support act at the some of the best venues in Southern Calif. such as, The House of Blues, The Key Club, The Roxy Theater, The Majestic Ventura Theater, Sohos, The Canyon Club, The Coach House, The Galaxy Theater and many others. The band has also played in other parts of the country as a support act for the band Ambrosia. Burleigh Drummond, drummer for Ambrosia, has performed live with Aspen and appears on the Aspen CD “Blue Skies” as well as Mick Mahan, bass player for the Pat Benatar Band. The band is based in Thousand Oaks, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles. Aspen has a CD titled “Blue Skies” on E. Legal Records.
