Over 80 live shows in the calendar year of 2006 demonstrates that Brian Jarvis is rapidly establishing himself as a credible mainstay in the Northeast music scene. The Brian Jarvis Band has become a regular in both the college market, and at venues along the east coast. Either solo or with a full band, Brian has played shows from Philadelphia to New Hampshire, in renowned venues such as World Live Café and The Acoustic Café New Jersey. The Brian Jarvis Band also appeared in one of Connecticut's largest local music festival and awards ceremony, the Hartford Advocate Band Slam 2006, after being together for less than a full year. In 2006 Brian Jarvis shared bills with many renowned artists including Chad Perrone, The Alternate Routes and The Samples. Throughout his career, Brian has also played with such notable artists as Stephen Kellogg, Ari Hest, and Chris Robinson and Virgin Records recording artist Renata (The Last Goodnight)as well as Kenny Mehler of Universal Records The Brian Jarvis is off to a running start in 2007, with regular stops scheduled at area colleges, clubs and bars. Beyond playing extensively in the area, BJB plans to release a new, much anticipated first full length album in 2007. In July 2007 Brian was awarded by the Hartford Advocate Reader's poll as Best Solo Artist!
