"Lights Out for the Territories" is the fourth album from 'dariustx', the solo project of composer Darius Holbert. A year in the making, this record runs from southern singer-songwriter, to Irish reel, to dirty swamp funk, and shows off Darius' wide range of influences and talents. Regardless if you're new to dtx, or have been with him the whole way, he has clearly hit his stride with "Lights Out", and this record is not to be missed.
Hey, check it out. The album is almost done, waiting on art and such - looking for an Aug 18 release. Here's a sneak peek. Let me know what you think. I'm totally a-tremble!

Hiya peeps, we're still sloggin away in the studio. What does slogging really mean? There is no doubt we're doing it. Can't wait for you to check out the goods.
In the meantime, here's a new rough of just me and the beat-up piano I'm recording on. It's an unmixed version of 'Lower Than Horseshoes Go'. Let me know what you think.

In the meantime, check out this unreleased cover of Jeff Buckley's 'Lover You Should Have Come Over'. Let me know what you think.
