Doorway 27 was a feature performer at Sunfest 2000, Florida's largest entertainment event, sharing the bill with such acts as Lenny Kravitz, Our Lady Peace, Average White Band and many more. Charles Passey of the Palm Beach Post wrote in a recent review of our SunFest 2000 Performance "Doorway 27 gave a solid set showcasing it's wry, modern-rock sound…Here's hoping SunFest brings them back next year". Doorway 27 was also a feature act at the 2000 "Stop The Violence" benefit held at the Central Florida Fair Grounds outside of Orlando (http://www.stv.net/). You can currently hear Doorway 27 on ESPN's "Extreme Bloopers"; they selected a track from "Who I Am", Doorway's first release, to feature on the show. Doorway 27 has also shared the stage with national acts such as: SR71, Stroke 9, Harvey Danger, Duncan Sheik, Sprung Monkey, & Liquid Soul and more. They have participated in several benefits for the National Surfrider Foundation, VH1 Save The Music Fund, and the first annual Feather Fest (raising $1000's for South Florida Wild Life preservation), & the American Kidney Association. They have played City block parties for the cities of Orlando, Ft. Meyers & West Palm Beach. In October of '99 Doorway 27 was honored to be part of the 1st annual Hallow Fest at the Raymond F. Kravis Center amphitheater and featured on the main stage of Moonfest 99 and 2000 (w/ audience attendance topping 15,000).
