Bankrupt Records began as a creative experiment devised by a young man named James G. Starting from the bottom of the barrel, James G put together a team of rap artist that bring their own personalities and abilities into the music. James G and his brother JG combined into one entity known as the "DUO", while another figure known simply as "Big C" began stalking the underground rap scene mixing a soulful southern sound with inspiring stories of self-preservation. The rap is different, bizarre, and something out of this world. Bankrupt Records combines demented storytelling, graphic imagery, underground independence, and a bankrupt view of mainstream rap that makes them unique and refreshing for all audiences.
