The band consists of Christoffer Petersen (lead vocals/rhythm guitars), Rune Madsen (lead guitars), Dennis Heilesen (bass), and Kasper Lund (drums). Flavour calls Copenhagen, Denmark home. They play original songs written by inspiration of the 90s rock scene. They adore bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, STP and Nirvana, but their full-bodied songs are more than shadows of their role models. Flavour is not a new grunge band - FlaVour is the sound of the new century. Hard rock is reborn! In 2003 lead singer Christoffer Petersen won the award for Best Singer, when FlaVour participated in the national Melody Maker Contest in Denmark. In 2005 the band won Talent of the Year in the Danish competition MusikTalent.dk. Among the judges were the national radio station P3 and Denmarks premier music magazine Gaffa. Along with the title followed a performance at Langelandsfestivallen 2006. 2007 has already seen the band off and running. They started with the release of their newest EP entitled “Inner Vision”. The band's EP was recorded at Almestudiet, Denmark and contains 5 tracks of intense, gripping, modern hard rock. They supported their release with a successful U.S. Tour. Doing shows in Hollywood, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, San Francisco and others on their short but power packed West Coast tour. 2007 has also seen them winning the second place spot on the 14th Annual Billboard magazine World Songwriting contest compilation cd.
