The band started out in Victoria Texas about three years ago. (Around 1998 or 99). The founding members Paul Piwonka and Fred Weisenhunt were in disarray with the current drummer and bass player and decided to move to Rosenberg Texas to locate better musicians with their drive and devotion to music. They found myself and brother Rick Gomez and decided to press onward with the first studio project which took approximately 4 1/2 months to complete. The majority of the material was written by Paul with the exception of one song which was written by fred. Our music is rich in Texas blues and rock which seems to be in sparse condition in our area. The CD is entitled Texas Luvn' which refelects the individual musical infuences of the band members well. There is a mix of Blues, Country, Rock,and even a little touch of Funk to round out the Gin Road sound.
