macutchi are Phil, Terry and Mick. Primarily we were writers and producers of most forms of music, particularly, ambient, trance, house, and every now and again acoustic bands. Phil started off 15 years ago using fast tracker on the old pc's long before anything like logic and cubase were around. Phil's skills at the keyboard need to be seen to believed. He has produced alot of dance music and acoustic tracks with his brother who is also an extremely talented musician, through out this time phil had been working full and part time as a chef!! I started dj'ing about 12 years ago, and producing about 6 years ago. i used to pay for studio time in manchester, at a studio called HQ, but slowly realised that i couldnt rely on other people forever, to make my tunes for me, so i started to look into buying my own equipment and finding somebody to make them with. I met phil through a friend of mine who was also a chef. i was looking for somebody who could play the keyboard and who also made tunes. After a load of lucky coincidences we finally got together and started to make tunage. During this time i decided to go to university with Mick (who dropped out after 6 months, but has since restarted at night school) to study a HND and BSC hons degree in audio engineering and professional sound and video, which i got a 2:1 smile.gif. This helped us alot with the sound engineering and production side of things, and over the next 5 years we have made some excellent tunes smile.gif Then about 12 months ago Mick aka Dj Ogle, a professional DJ tutor, asked us if we would consider making scouse house and bounce tunes, so we agreed and set to work to produce some good quality BIG RIFF BOUNCE. Mick's experience as a DJ (resident of the Temple in Bolton for 2 years before becoming the resident and promoter at Club Platinum) has been a massive help; he has brought his knowledge of the trance and bounce scene and music in general and integrated it into our style of music production. So there you go thats how macutchi was spawned Thankyou for reading this! an hope you enjoy the music, we enjoy making it!
