At age 33, Josh Kirkland still calls his Mother "Mama" and speaks with a cool softness, not only is he a southern gentlemen, he is an intense guitarist From the swamps of southeast Georgia, born in waycross, and raised on Southern Rock and Blues, Josh has been performing half of his life, ~Iaying various styles of music from country to rock. Josh became fascinated with the guitar at an early age, after recieving his first guitar for his 13th birthday, he began cutting his teeth on 80's rock but soon found himself being drawn toward the blues, listening to such greats as Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, BB King, and Duane Allman over the years Josh has supported such acts as Rick Derringer, Pat Travers and The Atlanta Rhythm Section 2002-2004 Josh toured as a tribute to the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan astounding audiences nationwide with his renditions of SRV classics. Josh has now emerged with his own original music to the delight of fans and new audiences and have gotten rave reviews everywhere he has performed.
