My was formed spontaniously when drummer Minh Le and leadvocalist/guitarist Jannie Lund got an opportunity to get some songs on the radio, the only problem was: we had not written any songs yet. So we put our heads together and wrote the song "Jazz we made" and a few others, then we decided to expand the group with Phong Le and then we entered a local contest in our county(Not expecting anything at all)...WE WON. So now it snowballed, we wrote 30 songs in about 6 months and just kept on working hard to get gigs etc. We have been playing together since January 2003 and we are still working on the sound and the music...
