It all began back in a musty old closet, where my mother caught me wearing her clothes. Paul Hadfield, (A.K.A.Paula/crossdresser/composer/vocals) Arthur Hurd, (Torpedo, lead guitar) ganged up to record Paul's comedy material. Ed Macomber,(ED, drums) said why don't you put this to music. Longtime friend Steve Rosenburg played bass for the band until summer of "98", when he was drafted into the Peace Corps. Arthur on his way to rehearsal one day late in December "38",and says to this stranger lurking in subway "Hey my model T won't start, will you give me jump? This guy Tony helped him with speech impediment and said "I play bass". So Arthur sez why don't you audition for the band. Much to the bands surprise, problem solved. Arthur makes it to practice. Tony Oliveira (Mr. Spandex/bass guitar) joins the group to form a trio plus the drummer (Ed). And as they say,"you can't get there from here".
