What info does iLike collect about me?

The iLike Sidebar for iTunes (and plugin for Windows Media Player) collects all of your listening habits in order to recommend you new music and help you share your tastes online. We believe in complete transparency in our privacy policy - we want you to know exactly what we are doing with your data. Currently, we send a snapshot of your music library to our servers, including your playlists, and we also collect data each time you listen to music. You retain control of what music data is shared, and with whom, via your account settings. We make our best attempt not to collect or display data when you listen to podcasts, videos, voicememos, or audiobooks, mainly to protect your privacy, but also because the iLike service is focused on music.
