What are the minimum OS and browser requirements for using iLike?

The iLike website has been tested to work on Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later, Mac OS/X Safari version 1.2 or later, or Mozilla Firefox. Please click here for installation locations.  Other browsers may display the website properly, but we haven't tested any of them.

Using the iLike website also requires use of Adobe's Flash Player plugin, and we recommend using the latest version. Please click here for the installation location.

Other browser users: There are many browsers that may work with the iLike website, but we have only tested with Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox. We've been asked to do smarter browser-checking to find other Gecko-compatible browsers, we will eventually do it, but for now we are predominantly compatible with those browsers. In particular, if you use another browser as your system default, you will be unable to associate the iLike Sidebar with your iLike.com user profile. Please click here for more info.

If you want to use the iLike Sidebar you need Windows XP or Mac OS/X Tiger.

If you are using an earlier versions such as Windows 2000 or Windows ME, we're sorry but you can't use the Sidebar. However you can still enjoy many features of the website - please click here for more info. Windows Vista users please click here for more info.

Mac OS/X Tiger users: Make sure to download and install all the latest OS/X system updates if using the Sidebar. If you are on a very old version of Tiger it won't work.

The Sidebar has been tested with iTunes versions 6 or later.  It seems to work with older versions but we make no guarantees. We recommend using the latest version.
