Gday Brian Great article of yours on Lori McKenna in USA Today! I "recommend"ed it but couldn't leave a comment so I shall leave it here instead. Looking forward to reading more of your work Mate, and thanks for the music friendship. Stay Gold Jad

Thanks for the Donovan Frankereiter suggestion. Checked out his home page and gave him a good listen and really enjoy! He's doing some shows with Ben Harper and Jack Johnson who I both also enjoy - so maybe I'll try and catch him live somewhere soon.

"Dozens of acts, from Laurie Anderson to R.E.M. to 3 Doors Down, have used Superman as the inspiration for songs. But John Ondrasik's 2001 hit for Five for Fighting looks at the tender side of the Man of Steel. 'I'm only a man in a silly red sheet,' Superman sings as he yearns for understanding from those he's vowed to protect, 'digging for kryptonite on this one-way street.'"
