"Hey...how many times do you have to listen to a song before you can recall the melody?...this one takes me a bit of time to sink in! Honesty and virtuosity combined in a fluid mix of eclectic rhythms, angelic harmonies, and a heart-felt lyrical interpretation...this awesome tune had me tapping my toes (and had me on the cell phone to my friend saying, "You should have listen this!!)...is soooo good listening Garvies expanding his vocabulary of color and harmony...his lusty guitarr is richly percussive and hammering, while full of cascading and romantic sounds... Thank you D for such a quality songs and such a wonderful music! "

"This last days reading about my friend's summer holidays am feelin'a lil'bit envy them cuz they're having lots of fun at da beach mainly and me...well, am working like crayzee! but this ugly emotion tends to disappear when it comes -as always- to music for rescue me ;D Besides...in the end of da year I'm gonna be rich and they gonna ask me for money!!! jajajaa.... I have a crush on Cuba n' the Caribbean region, so it's extensive to its music also. I LOVE Son Cubano!! Just think about that without "Son Cubano" as the basis for this genres you may forget about Jazz, Salsa or Flamenco. That important is afro-cuban rhythm & sounds. Thx to this music Im always on summer season wherever Im cuz this music brings to me da beach, da sea, sand, coral riffs, palm trees, hammocks, and...da HEAT that makes me feel as powerful as wild at heart and alive. Just try yourself: take your partner, put the record on n' feel...just feel da heat of this rhythm going upside from your feet, passing slowly thru your legs and hips and flow with all those warm sensations that the Son evokes on your mind...slow, slow...just free your soul and mind...one step ahead, one step behind...move da hips and feel...set you free n' put your hands up in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care...feel the rhythm stay real tight embracing your body and your senses...let the Son control your move, shake your bud classy yet crazy...the rhythm of the music's so hot that your will feel your sweat dropping down all over your body...sexy, huh??...just try to dance this and lemme know what happen after, ok??....warm hugz!!!! CC "

"Im not in the mood of love (romantic luv, ok?)...sorry BUT every single lonesome (and reclusive) heart wants to sabotage V's day...and I want it too!...but let's do it with...style at least. My biggest weakness is...LOVE. So I guess am one of the strongest woman on earth, huh?... In spite the fact am not in a loving mood lately, I do luv my people and friends, so let me give you guys out there an advice: take your gals tonite out to wine n'dine in a fancy place (remember: I said let's do celebrate Valentine's day with STYLE)...do your best for'em and please! try to behave as chivalrous as you want your sister's BF do with her...let her know how beautiful (B E A U T I F U L not hot, ok??) she looks and for God's sake...don't be cheap: spoil'em with a nice gift...after all, the pain she've passing thru the wax session and all those days killing herself under the rules of a tiranic diet it worth much more than a few box, isn't??...as for you girls just a little suggestion: PLEASE DONT BE A CRAZY BITCH W YOUR MAN!...they're not so lovely time to time??? ;D H A P P Y V A L E N T I N E'S D A Y !!!!!! "Hello!!! how ya duing on the new year people?? hope everything is going well there with all of you. I'm glad cuz this year is going pretty good so far. I would like to introduce you to start good enough this 2008 to a very nice and kind artist. Every single time I hear about women like Clara (a very charismatic girl), I feel sooooooo proud to be a woman!...She got not only a solid and strong formation as musician but at the same time she runs her own indie label record company as a go getter (and entrepreneurial) individual…what a talented and versatile girl don’t you think? In this self-produced album, their songwriting is really thoughtful and smart. It has a great structure with excellent single-note licks (don't ya feel in a sexy mood with this song??) and rhythm. As for the vocals, she posses rich soulful tones mixed with a silky voice. I think this is what sets Clara apart from similar artists. This song caught my attention immediately: I think that starting soft and coming out is a good character in a song. It makes them seem one way at first and then totally blows you away. Is a song that begins with breathless "talking" vocals at first and then, as a pleasant surprise, incorporates vocals later that are actually breathing gone melodic. This tune shows a strong effort/focus on lyrical content. Black + Blue Pearl is indeed powerful! I’m sure about Clara will catch the attention of lotta fans (and industry individuals) to give her tons of incentives to continue the creative/entrepreneurial process….girrrrrl, u gotta groove! ;-) "

"It was sooooo difficult to choose a Carol to send you all my Christmas greetings: I tried with the Messiah, then with Silent Night, then with Faeries (from the Nutcracker)…even the Chipmunks!...and nothing seemed good enough to express my wishes to you. It’s a Holiday season for Christians whom we called it Christmas and went to the church; the Jews called it Hanukkah and went to synagogue…but what about the atheist??...well…ummm…let’s see: the atheists went to parties and drank!! Jajaaaaaa…no offense, just kidding so please don’t send hate emails, ok?? ;-D Then I though why in the first place do we celebrate Xmas? (btw, did you know why we uses this abbreviation?...X is the letter Chi, which is the first letter of Christ’s name in the Greek alphabet, that’s why). We call this time of year Christmas coz we celebrate the Mass, or church service, for Christ. It’s supposed that we celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. Sadly today, not many people consider the religious meaning to Christmas, in spite no other person has had such an effect on human lives as Jesus. So much of the celebration is now fixed for us by popular entertainment and commerce. There is a kind of inevitability about the season that begins to take hold around the end of October, and we find ourselves, even if unwillingly, caught up in the fun, the excitement and also the orgy of spending and superficial jollity. There is an enormous pressure on families to spend more than they can afford, coupled with the encouragement to “eat, drink and be merry” at any price. Also, where Christian sentiments do exist, they not only struggle against a tide of materialism in the world but also fail to find any spiritual depth in the Church which emphasizes the fantasy elements and is devoid of real content. In the other hand, many people do hope for more than presents at Christmas: We are all children at heart, and have been children, almost all our associations with the season are good and produce good memories. We want to somehow return to a time in our childhood (or some other good time in the past), when life was simpler and made more sense, before the troubles of adult life arrived and it seems to hold out hope for the future too, in that the better side of man might one day prevail. We feel sure that behind all the fun and decorations, there must somehow be a message, something more, some key to life, hope and happiness. So can we look beyond the way Christmas is celebrated today, and find any real meaning, any message for our lives today? As for me, the Christmas meaning is simple: it’s the perfect time to give Jesus a present, as the three kings did when he was born –after all, that’s what all we do when in a bday, isn’t?- . He has asked to my prayers, he has holding me as the best friend ever with so much love and caring through the last times but mainly he’s giving me a new live full of strength, peace and willing to live, laugh n’ love again. That’s why I would like to give you, my friends, in return not in the name of Christmas but in his name, the same gift I’ve received from him: the deepest conviction about Real Love and Forgiveness as the key to learn how to live without unnecessary pain nor attachments. Spread your Love not only to your beloved ones but to all the people around you. You will see there are instantly positive effects to spreading love, too. When you do something nice for another person, they are not the only ones who benefit, both the giver and the receiver get a boost that raises immunity against suffering. There are millions of ways to spread Love in a daily and easy basis, here are just a few to promote: 1)If someone is nasty and selfish, approach them with compassion, though. Nastiness and selfishness are often products of not getting enough love. 2)Tell the people who you care about that you love them. It sounds basic, but many people forget. 3)Practice empathy; everyone has a different point of view. Even with the bitch you wanna choke or the guy you think is a total moron, put yourselves in their shoes to try and understand where s/he is coming from. 4)Book off time for your family and friends. Work is important, but people time is important, too. We’re bad at this. We love our work so much that we forget to step back at times. 5)When someone is talking to you, pay them your full attention. If you can’t, schedule a time when you can. When we are around friends and loved ones - people we can trust and who we care about - we can relax, smile or laugh heartily. Troubles seem a million miles away. Or, at least we have someone to share them with. We feel like we matter. We are given confidence to face the world. Which my wish is for all you friends this Xmas and New Year?? Long life and abundance of luv in your hearts!!! (and money in your pockets!). Lots of hugs, CARMEN C. PS. Just because, when I was talking about the three kings or “the three wise men” as they’re also known, I’m not talking about that drink containing Jim Beam, Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels, ok???? MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! "

"What a day...Christmas shopping done, my outfits ready for the oncoming parties but today I've already received the best Christmas gift since a long time ago. One of the poorest man -a homeless- I have ever met he gave me the ultimate gift. Real love, unconditional Love is about compassion and sacrifice, which is why Jesus died on the cross to show his ultimate love for us by removing our darkness. I was raised as catholic, certain guiding principles have served me well in the business of life although Im more spiritual than religious. I've picked with so much respect and appreciation beliefs here and there, but God´s presence is truly the core value for me. He's the strongest feeling of hope, joy and peace in my life. When it comes to religion, some people might think "this only concern to all those who believe in Jesus then"...but not, this concern to all those who believe in Love. Lemme explain: The man whom Im talking about, this man who has nothing, he show me off the deepest meaning of what Love is. I was buying some bread and cookies in the outside of a fancy bakery, then the man comes to me asking for something I couldn't understand well due the low tone he used to talk me; I got the change so I gave him some coins...he said "no, please (yes, he said please...Im wondering how many of us still use "please" and "thank you") just give me a piece of bread"...I gave him the piece of bread then he crossed the street just to gave the bread to another older homeless!...I got surprized coz this guy looks famish but he asked for a piece of bread not for him but for another human being. The girl who was packing my cookies she said "he always do that, ask for bread or food not just for him but for his fellows mainly"...man, don't you think it's real love and compassion? The core value of Putting People First should be at the heart of any person, it means that we as mankind are here to serve and support. Putting people first is equally about our family, beloved ones, friends, co-workers and especially our community. It’s really about the whole world, not only about us. And when it comes to the needs of the poorest, we should treat them first as individuals, as human beings. If everyone shares in the same core values, the same energies and philosophies, the principle of Putting People First makes their life easier, and our life easier too. So, if we hoped to be blessed on life, we have to reallocate our priorities at life as well as our emotions and channel our thinking. Im idealistic yet rational. I know well how difficult is to fight alone against poverty. Would you like to take a look at the link below whenever you can? then only if you're convinced about how much we can do to change the world, could you please sign? http://www.one.org/declare/ Thank you people, thx a lot in advance to every single one. Bless, all the best, CC."

"What i like the most about music?...I like the most its power to bring me memories and to evoke special moments in my life: "Satellites" is special to me 'cause I've listen this song quite few months ago in the middle of a down mood and you know what? when I started to listen carefully the beautiful and well structured metaphors I simply...SMILED. Sometimes it's necessary to listen the songs like closer to get involved into the textured sounds and expressive voices singing and then get related them to enjoy nicest atmospheres. That's what WE KNOW, PLATO! does through its music. It's amazing to see a group with such talent create music that will be played and appreciated for many years from now on. Take care people, be safe and PSE do not forget to support any effort to save the earth: this blue planet is the ONLY ONE we have to live ; D CC"

"Expressive lyrics, fresh yet inspirational sounds it sounds to me very diverse, kind of child-like whimsy to innocence lost, perfect for evoking that unspoiled nature we all once possessed. It seems WARM IN THE WAKE music is about the heartland, the biggest bass, the strongest truck, and the coldest beer you ever tasted. It's about hard work, hard luck, good times and family...LIKE IT!"

"This is the first song I can remember from my childhood…some few years later it was released, I listened by the first time LONG COOL WOMAN and suddenly the time stopped; I got thrilled, didn’t exist anything more in that moment than the deep, hot, and sick sensation that hits me powerfully underneath my skin; this warm sensation traveled through my thorn so slowly…almost could feel a pleasant pain while it was installed forever into my head before exploiting as a thunder into my ears; that was THE moment I got infected for life by the bug named “ROCK & ROLL”...its rhythm caught me at that very moment for never set me free. What we listen through our very early years is definitive later to set our musical tastes: I have been listening to this song for so many years and not once did I ever think it’s enough. I’m still hooked by the uncontrollable desire of continuing listening those guitars and vocals that will be surely the ones which I would like to listen in the end to say good-bye (my way of course) one day. THE HOLLIES, what a versatile group: they played a mountain of little gems year after year (1960-2000). You can listen "Butterfly" (Psychodelic),”Tell me to my face” (bossa Bova), "On the road" or "Hey Willy" (almost hard rock),"So lonely" or "Jus one look" (beat songs), or lovely and soft ballad like "Too many hearts go broken", or disco with “Another night”. This band is not from “my time” but hey! a lot can be learned from those sixties bands. This is a GREAT song for the young and old (if you are under 30’s, just ask your dad to listen it together and you will see what do you will find about him and with him about his life experiences related with the time when this song were released. Then gone wild, get drunk along with your old man and have lotta fun spending some quality time; I promise that life is good when you share with your beloved ones)… have you ever thinking about the enormous power music has to get closer the people who belong to different generations?...Thanks my Dad, I got the lyrics a long, long time ago; “…A pair of 45's made me open my eyes My temperature started to rise She was a long cool woman in a black dress Just a 5-9 beautiful tall With just one look I was a bad mess 'Cause that long cool woman had it all…” Didn’t knew about “a pair of 45’s” meaning in that moment (thought it was guns! jaaa...), some few years later, he bought a chopper bike (he’s an enthusiastic biker!...hmmm…now I’m wondering if I’m wild at heart due this heritage, LOL), so we were discussing about who would got the first ride with him –I won ‘cause I’m Daddy’s girl even I’m too old for that at the present time-. In the meantime, we were listening LONG COOL WOMAN and It was an hilarious moment between us when I did realize, thx Dad again, about the double meaning of “a pair of 45’s”…he said to me that it was slang in America for…better to ask your parents!! jajajaaa LONG COOL WOMAN (what an awesome tune!!) is the # 1 song –no doubt- of my personal soundtrack. As a matter of fact, I owe the passion I feel for Music and for this genre (Rock and Roll) in particular to this song. If I were to find someone who had grown up in the wilds and hadn't experienced modern culture, I would play THIS top hit record song to demonstrate what rock & roll and “rocking” is. This kick but song is sick nasty: great opening riff (one of the best ever), killer vocals (Allan Clarke rocks!), great lyrics, bad ass baseline, foot stomping, leg mover (what a beat!)…what’s not to love??...this song has it all !! I bet you that almost EVERYONE who start to play guitar, they were somehow inspired by this master piece. …The 70’s were an era of influential and important turning points all around the world, ya know?...let’s take a brief overview on the ’72, the year when this Hit reached the top of the charts: ?Bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland 13 protesters –catholic civilians- were shot by the British Army, (they wound too 14 people) during a Civil Rights march in Derry, touching off riots which led to the suspension of the Northern Ireland parliament. (years later, U2 composed “Sunday bloody Sunday” inspired by this event) •Israeli athletes taken hostage/killed at Olympics The PLO group Black September in revenge for the 1970 defeat of Palestinian guerrillas, broke into the Olympic Village and killed two coaches and took nine hostages. It later ended in the death of the hostages and the commandos as they tried to leave the country. •Watergate Burglary The act that felled the President two years later, was committed in June of 1972 by five men, among them ex-FBI man G. Gordon Liddy and ex-CIA man E. Howard Hunt. (Tricky Dick!!) •Last man on the moon Eugene Cernan, last man to walk on the moon. He was on Appollo 17. •Napalm Bombing In South Vietnam, a tactic has been to bomb villages to discourage support of the Viet Cong. Terrorized children are televised running from the napalm bombing of the village of Trang Bang. (everybody have seen the picture on the cover of an ancient LIFE of the naked girl with the burned flesh, seen running from her village) •Human Rights The United Nations proclaims the International Human Rights Day. GREAT LAUNCHES & INVENTIONS •HBO (Home Box Office) subscription cable TV launch •First commercially successful game (Pong) released. It was invented by Nolan Bushnell. •Nike running shoes hit the market (Thanks God we have Nike!) •E-
