LoL - Well I'm glad that you're enjoying it. I needed something new to keep my brain busy with this site. And you are right, sometimes I almost feel bad picking one band over another cos there are so many great ones out there. Cheers! Jude

"Brand new Spiritualized, this track shows Jason Pierce channelling Bob Dylan on amphetamines. Yeah Yeah indeed!!! Get it now: http://www.mediafire.com/?gx0cwxzmy24 "
"From their upcoming release, "Velocifero", a strong track that reminds me of Madonna somehow(and that's a good thing;). Find it for your listening pleasure here: http://www.mediafire.com/?gmizgfejnzd"
"NEW PORTISHEAD! Harder, starker but still dark and spooky. This track shows a heavy krautrock influence and is my first pick from the new album; Third. get the track here: http://www.mediafire.com/?yt2qjztgm9g"

"L" is for Love & Rockets. Post Bauhaus and these guys just keep kicking it. You can't get a suntan on the moon, but I wouldn't mind a holiday there. My thoughts exactly."
"K" is for Killing Joke. a hugely under appreciated band, from punk to metal to jazz to industrial to synthpop; these guys know how to do it better than most. Jaz Coleman is a badass!!!"
"J" is for Joy Division. Vastly influential(and much talked about recently), I still remember getting this album when I was 14 and being literally blown away at how different it was from anything else I had heard. All in all this album is one my dark favorites and easily lands itself on my desert island list."

""I" is for Iggy Pop. The godfather of punk, the man is fucking immortal. Thi s song is an eternal favorite and never ceases to make me smile and want to hit the town and see what happens. "

""H" is for the Human League. What can I say I'm a sucker for gothy 80's synth pop. I came of age drinking(underage) in gay disco's and well, formative experiences and all...cheers!"
""G" is for Gary Numan, what can I say the man is a living legend, and I love him more since he came back(he took a 10 year break from music to fly airplanes), here's one w/ a special someone from the past attached to it in my memory. I miss you Amanda. "

""F" is for the Fall. Like my favorite season and what happens when I have too much "Moodswing Whiskey"...and I swear this song was written about my evil twin(please refer to previous mentions of Moodswing Whiskey :)"
""E" is for Echo & the Bunnymen. God I love my Echo. "She'll tell you her cathedral has no windows and no doors..." Pure poetry..."

"D is for the Damned. (Depeche Mode was taken...) One of my favorite album covers of all time(Patricia Morrison is hot!), and I still get mistaken for Dave Vanian from time to time. "
"C is for the Cure, hand down had to do it. Too many girls, too many memories. I wouldn't be the sad bastard I am today without these guys!"

Mar 27, 2008

"B is for Bauhaus, to whom I was introduced to by a lovely red haired vixen named Rachel when I was 15. "I dare you to be real..." I think the opening line to this song(especially as sung by Peter Murphy) is one of favorite quotes ever! I plan on getting it tattooed somewhere on my body someday...."
"Ok Mr. Male Goodbye, you're on!!! A IS for AC/DC!!! This is the title track from the first full length album(on vinyl kids!) that I recall owning, I think I was 9...and as anyone who knows me can attest to I haven't taken the exit ramp yet."
