Will it involve a goat, dead or otherwise?

I was in the lab. Since you just popped in. And made me reserve my calendar. But you didn't tell me for what. Then the link didn't work. Then it didn't work again. But then it worked! And now I find it rather odd indeed. Why would we want to go see that?

Happy October ;) No, she didn't show me firsthand. But we had a whole chicken and she was super happy to be tearing it to pieces. And when I said that was sort of gross to rip it apart with her bare hands, she launched into a story about the killing, plucking, skinning bits and how this was nothing in comparison. I like my food dead and already pre-cut into tiny bite-sized pieces, thanks.

*By* someone's bare hands, not "with"! Cate once explained to me how to kill a chicken, pluck it, skin it, and then tear it into eating-sized pieces and make it into a soup.

That's a fantastic safety meeting!! All really complicated foreign stuff, eh? Washing hands, replacing things as they were, not syphoning gas... I don't know if you can handle remembering all of those! They could (should?) also add: don't put the toaster in the shower. Then you'd be set. It's a good thing I'm here to warn you... ;)

Hehe, fair enough. I'll try to keep myself updated you and then we can spend a few days in the fall teaching you what you've been missing out on. What do you learn in general safety? Remember to wear your boots and don't poke bears with long sticks? And watch for falling helicopters...
