  the Mabuses? where'd they come from? so strange to get one of those groups, seemingly from out of nowhere, with an album or two, that just blow you away. kind of like the Waxwings. makes it worth picking through all this stuff late into the evening. thanks, again.

  jena, any recommendations for new christmas songs you care to pass along? i just downloaded the wouldbehipster album, which has some cool tracks (i especially like "winter, that's all" by Fol Chen, and "christmas california" by Sara Lov & Dustin O'Halloran; the latter has a nice little beach boys vibe.)
