    Thanks for the add. What time did you stay till to meet Crowded House? Cause i'm seeing them on Wednesday and just wondering how i would i have to stay for after the concert. Very nice photo.Cheers Lisa.

    Great picture. Looks like a Lolla shot. I off to the right at stage left. Wonderful musical weekend and I see that most of your recs are from some of the bands after Lolla. Great music and look forward to more recs.

"I'm not a big fan of M.I.A. I saw her at Lollapalooza and she does have a lot of energy and has a unique style, but it's not really my cup of tea. This song, however, isn't as loud as a lot of her stuff, even though there are lots of gun samples. She also samples The Clash, one of my favorite bands, so I give this tune a thumbs up."

"My favorite song on the new album - this one was co-written by a few people, including Natalie Maine. Interesting. I'm not sure what the song is really about but in my mind its about a parent who has alzheimer's or dementia and is in a home. Maybe they've passed away. Sort of heavy. What a beautiful chorus. The sound is so thick and complex. "
"The Promise gives me happy memories of early high school puppy love. The drum machine dates the song a bit, but the constant beat of the drum machine really keeps the song flowing seamlessly. The lyrics are sappy and sweet. Awww, young love."

"This is a fun song that I've lost when I accidently blew everything off of my ipod. Sad. The nice pop sound of the Ordinary Boys brings a yin yang effect to Lady Sov's nasaly rap (and I mean that in a good way, Sov). Great song for driving fast with the windows down."
