While "Crucify Myself" had a melody that I was humming without thinking later that day, it was "Girl" that blew me away and I saw that here was a great artist--The refrains, the lyrics of this song and how they suddenly jump to another reference--absolutely brilliant! This live version manages to take all the efforts Kate Bush has made in her studio recordings getting the voice just right the way she wants it--and Heather Nova manages to achieve it in this live recording! And in this track she achieves an almost Enya sound. The emphasis on the cello further improves this song--we get the feeling of painful betrayal of the persona of this song, clearly. Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Sinead fans--you MUST get this track--available on the CD single "Maybe an Angel"--an import from Germany."
