Hi Ganesh, thanks for you message. iLike is a forum for exchanging ideas about music, it is not a download site. If you are in US, you will find iTunes and eMusic a very good place for downloading. My collection is mostly from hundreds of CDs that I bought in India & US and thousands of cassettes that I have been buying since 1986 [Got a converter to digitize them (see this forum topic: http://www.shatatantri.com/forums/index.php?board=1.0 Hope to hear more from you soon. Cheers, Ramesh

What do you want to do on iLike? Here is what I do: 1) Look at friends' profiles to look at their musical taste 2) Exchange musical knowledge with friends (using messaging) 3) Looking at Artist pages to find out the fans 4) Checking out a few free samples made available by the iLike team 5) Install iLike Sidebar so that the songs I play on iTunes show up in "recently played" list on iLike [songs can't be shared -- iLike doesn't support file sharing [read ILLEGAL] One greatest thing about iLike is that you can find out a lot about music that you don't know... by asking other fans. Hope this answers your question. Cheers, Ramesh

iLike is a forum for sharing your musical knowledge... It doesn't have a download service, though it is possible to play the 30 second preview of some tracks. It does have a free download feature (Garageband.com) for upcoming artists. What instrumental music are you talking about? Indian? You find most of those tracks on iTunes. Just search for the artist name on iTunes. For example, iTunes has most of the albums by Ravi Shankar, Shivkumar Sharma, and Hariprasad Chaurasia. There are a few free podcasts on iTunes related to Indian music. Just search for "Hindustani Classical" and you will find them. HTH, Ramesh
