Korn was the shit back then in the mid-late 90ies, but then music began to revolutionize by these people who didnt know Korn in their early stages of their band. Disturbed was just another band that almost got very popular but it was just good enough to be around. But Korn was the shit back then before Jonathan Davis got adjusted by to his fame and money.

I agree with you about Disturbed, they are a product of this genre not an influence.
Korn may be weak and mainstream now, but they used to kick ass. They were pioneers and have been around long enough to be an influence to many younger bands.
