"How about this one, old guy?"
"This is like THE perfect song."
"So it took me a REALLY long time to figure out that I REALLY like this song. It sounds so very natural, like something you would concoct just sitting alone and thinking."
"I first heard of this song through Rolling Stone and decided to check it out...and...it's...FABULOUS!...Not too much into N.E.R.D or Santogold, but I love Julian Casablancas, and this combination works so well!"

For the most part, yeah I get paid. every now and then I'll do something with no pay and just go on tips. It's cool though, 'cause it's a whooole lot of fun =). Not like I get paid much anyway. Heh. Hell yes I would become a "pro musician," whatever that is :P. If I could feel comfortable in knowing that I could do that forever, oh my god yes. Definitely a huge fantasy of mine. I definitely would shuffle. My friend and I were actually thinking of renting some turntables for a show, and hiding them the entire time till the end, and busting out some electro house tunes or something. LOLRITE? I'm sure I could work that out with a monkey somehow. Thankfully you said forget about the Conor stuff, 'cause I don't know what you're asking either =D. So umm... watching old people mow the lawn is funny at times, and you'd get a recording of it on DVD? Interesting... Two week break in October? What the hell? No we don't O_o. Hahah... damn. Life kicks up around 11 here. Weak stuff.

Oh, and you definitely are starting to look a bit like Sam. Or Jesus. Or a hybrid of the two...

haha yeah, back in the day =). damn d00d, if you kill your ilike, i'll probably join, 'cause i don't have much reason to keep it >_>. I guess the only reason the new CD is considered a solo project is because Mike Mogis wasn't there. And yeah, MVB backed him on this CD... But no, I didn't hear about the group because I definitely don't read Rolling Stone. Yeah I do, it's a lot of fun. I've got an acoustic thing going with my best friend that we've been doing for a while, and I actually recently hooked up with another friend recently for some stuff at a farmer's market he got asked to do. I'm excited for everything coming up over the next few months as far as making music goes =). I feel you on the extensive movie list. There's a few that I've been wanting to see too...

Oh, marching band. Ha. Man, as much as I enjoyed that, I LOVE life without it. I have weekends and stuff. Tight. Oh d00d, you should hook me up with your myspace URL, chyeah? What's with everyone and laptops? I feel old school because I use a tower >_>. Except I can actually work on my own computer, so yeah... I'm glad I've got it. Heh. 75 dollars definitely was killer, but worth it too. Oh my god. Ha yeah I'd heard a little bit of M. Ward before and liked it, but he became one of my heroes pretty quickly. I've been a long time fan of Bright Eyes, but they're hardly related, because it was Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band :P. Idk if you've heard that CD, but it's a bit of a different sound. I guess if you related it to Bright Eyes, it sounds the most like Cassadaga. It seems like people who like Conor Oberst do tend to become obsessed.... I guess I'm kinda guilty too, but his older Bright Eyes stuff has a huge appeal to emo-nation... And you know how impressionable those d00ds are. What is this about a super group though? O_o. Hahah I've had so much fun on guitar in the past week. Seriously, watching M. Ward was a crazy inspiration. I've picked up a bit of his style, and actually added a few of his songs to a set list I'm playing next week, as well as something I wrote that has an absolutely-Ward-inspired feel. And I still shuffle kinda :P. Just not often... Pretty much I just shuffle at the raves and such. I still haven't seen Pineapple Express =/. I went to go see it with my girlfriend, and got ID'd trying to buy tickets O_O. I've never been ID'd trying to buy anything. I mean, I'm 17 so it would've been cool if I actually had an ID on me, but my girlfriend's 16 so that might've been a problem. Anyway, I even asked my mom to come get the tickets for us, and they said she'd have to see the movie with us. It was retarded. So then I bought the tickets online, and when I came back, the d00ds inside wanted to ID me. So now I've got two "rain checks." I guess we're just gonna see Nick and Norah's there, and see pineapple express at some non-retarded theater. lkasjdgkasdjhg. I have no idea if you care about football in the slightest, but I'm upset with my Saints at the moment =|.
