salut Wilcow, eh bien non iLike ne fait plus la mise a jour automatique de ce que joue iTunes sur mon ordi depuis plusieurs mois ! lastFm est plus fiable... Hi Ww, thanks for the Radical Dads! We two are the only ones at this moment who recommended them.... and like them. There will be more in the future! Enjoy the music, Henry

Love Dark Mean. They are a great group of guys, and, you'll be interested to know, working with The Rest on some promotional material. They're in good hands.

How is my favorite little indie rocker in France doing? I hope you are having a good start to 09. Loving the falling spikes you sent me, by the way. Best to you.
Yeah!...think its for political reasons...i just believe that music should cross boundries and challenge political and religious views and conventional thinking...it always used to!...n'est pas?...;-)
That's what I thought. BRMC are great at what they do (killer guitar blues), I don't know why they went in this direction. Hopefully they get back to their roots in the future
I'm pretty iffy on the new Spinto Band album as well. They were good live, but Frightened Rabbit blew them off the stage. Shame is FR opened. Many people left during the Spinto set. g =)~
kitty craft is a defunct project from the washington, dc record label march records. another awesome artist on that label is "sprites" - http://www.ilike.com/artist/Sprites
Je suis désolé, I'm not here very often at the moment. Thank you for all the songs and recs you're sending to me. Hope all is well. Je t'embrasse. Anna
[Vadoinmessico - A Short Story]... A guy from Italy and a guy from Mexico meet at college in London. They and their good friends from Austria & England form a band. A girl on holiday in the south of France hears their music, and recs it to a boy in America. The music is now loved around the world. THE END
Hey Li'l Miss! It looks like there will be a full length record sometime this Fall for Telekinesis. I'll let ya know what I hear!! Glad you likes =) Happy weekend!!
Hey ya! BBClub is kicking, and I didn't realize they had another ep until your rec. I just read an interview that stated the reason they aren't working on an album yet is because they want to finish high school. Jamie said, "There's a North London scene. Like Cajun Dance Party who go to our school. And there's an all-ages thing every week with bands playing that is usually really good." How cool is that?
Hey!
I like it (I J), especially the music, not really sure about the voice all that much. I will check them out further (_:
Have a beautiful weekend. M
Team WP "Letting Go" is a "sweet popsong" indeed! Still a genius in my eyes. Did I mention I saw Thao Nguyen & The Get Down Stay Down last weekend. So incredible!
Hey Dub u Dub U. I haven't had a chance to thank you for all the great recs lately. I also appreciate your kick in the head re: Stephen Malkmus. I have always loved Silver Jews. They are coming here in August. Soooo excited. g =)~
Ahhh!!! I've been meaning to thank you for the "Black Ramps" rec...it made me feel soooo much better about my abandonment ;) Finally, SOMETHING to temporarily fill my Pavement void!
Hey there. Been behind listening to everything, but wanted to thank you for the Travis DeVries stuff, as well as the Cymbals Eat Guitars stuff. (Et des autres aussi but this is off the top of my head... =D)
Look out, your wishes may come true. Did I tell you my travels will be bringing me to Nice for a week in late August? So many places, so little time!!! Thanks for being a great friend!!!
Hi there! Ohw... it was just a bug in the system. Got it out, start fresh =) Would be nice if my sidebar would connect with my new profile though. How have you been? Thanks for Amateur Radio Operator... Great find!
We lost a Icon of American politics this week. Tim Russert the journalist expired of sudden cardiac death. In a time when America needs leadership and direction, this was a great blow. This may seem strange, but art & politics are very intertwined to me (Woody Guthrie i.e.). The loss of a musician and a political reporter may seem dissimilar, but they are both charged with the duty to disseminate the truth. Both artist and pundit will be sorely missed .
Hello !!

Oh I know! I love Sebadoh as well as Pavement! I do enjoy lo-fi music so thanks for the heads up on ¡All-Time Quarterback! I listened to it and I LOVE IT!!! Merci beaucoup! I liked the “Factory Direct” track the best I think, though they were all very good I must say. Seriously Ben Gibbard is a genius! Oh and I see you’ve added some of The Morning Benders to your library, AWESOME!
Hey thanks for accepting the add! What exceptionally marvelous music i see before me on this here page haha Pavement!!! Niiiiiice, good stuff i must say. Well can't wait for more recs from you since we virtually have the same music taste. :) Thanks again!
Hi Wilcow,I have a brand new number "electric wax"now if you like it ,i will send it (please give your comments, always welcome),thanks for the support,

you certainly rock!! big thanks, glad you like my little tunes. If you consider to recommend my album to your friends ( i sure hope so) please tell to buy on Tuesday, May 27th cause best selling indie that day will get a front page feature on Amie Street! big thanks for everything & enjoy the music!!
glad you liked them (out of the afternoon). the singer reminds me of the lead singer from libertines (another fave), if they were to stroll down a more mellow path. :)
hi! sorry for being so absent lately. no, i haven't heard beast please be still live, but i'm with you...cool stuff! thanks for keeping me up to date with new music..i feel so behind and out of it. but, i'm happy!
Hi, thanks for your kind words, they mean a lot to me & sure I will let you download "I'll always be near you " AKA "Well you can do anything".
Thanx again

Thank you WILCOW for your friendship and checking out my Official Website! You're Awesome!!!!! Please SPREAD THE WORD, that's what we musicians are HERE FOR and I appreciate you for listening to MY SONGS and clicking "iLike" buttons ... PEACE my friend, Bryant. http://www.BSTERLINGCD.NET
Consider me educated. I don't really listen to a lot of that stuff. I like God Speed, and Explosions in the Sky, but usually I stick to music with vocals so that I can sing along and annoy my neighbors. BTW Your English is fine, you don't type with an accent at all!
Oh My God..... Tell me it's not so! I finally found something for YOU to download and enjoy that you did not already have my little Indie/Pop Princess! LoL.... I'm glad you enjoyed it. It hits a little close to home right now, but it is a great tune. Best, Matt
Yes, loved it. Did you listen to Destroyer's new one? Trouble In Dreams? It's so good.
I'm glad to be your friend too.
I just discovered Quinn Walker, cause they will be playing in my country with Cocorosie and Rio en Medio, and in they're page there you where next to the amazing Supermoxie!
Seeya
By post rock I guess you mean things from the vinyl era. I have a lot of albums from that era, but I tend to gravitate to new music. For someone my age older music is less about discovering than remembering, and I'm not very nostalgic by nature.
I just posted my more than obvious post re: The New Pornographers, but as an addendum... one of the encores was "Don't Bring Me Down" by ELO. Are you a genius or what?.
how could i ever choose which song to cover??? there are so many! jk c'est un bonne idee! i just heard the best cover of idioteque by radiohead by levi weaver.....AMAZING
Hardboiled connaisseur. But you could say something more. For istance:
it was established in 1979 by Matt Johnson.. Uncertain Smile has been voted by an Aussie radio as one the three all time best songs. Last work on 2002, but these days Matt is presenting a new one. Au revoir mon ami.
b4 asking your friendship I've been visiting your playlist. Your music is more mature than mine, maybe that's why we are so distant. Nonetheless I think that France is fantastique and so we are closer than ever.
"The Glass Bead Game" est un roman de Hermann Hesse. En français "Le Jeu des perles de verre". Mon nom dans le français... La joueuse des perles de verre. Well a bit of a boring description... Mais c'est moi. =)
The Beauty of O.K. is supposed to be putting out a full-length album sometime later this year. So they say... Also, no one has ever said they liked my pic before, so you get extra thanks for that ;)
and now... I found some pier nineteen downloads for you. =) Only two songs but better then nothing. Voilà le lien pour gratuitement téléchargement http://www.sonicx.com/Pier_Nineteen/ and sorry for my français horrible...
Je suis désolé =( I don't have a song from Pier Nineteen either. But maybe you like this band too and there are some free downloads http://www.lastfm.de/music/Juno+Falls Bon week-end ! =)
ah, yes, zsammy was one of the first garageband artists that i "iliked" when i first joined. i didn't realize that i was the top listener. thanks for your recent rec's!
Going to see Cursive live day after tomorrow... jealous?=) I'll give you a scouting report afterwards. I am pretty excited to go. Thanks for turning me on to such a GREAT band. Cheers, Matt
You have good taste in music and you make me laugh. Bravo! There are 4 major cities within a hundred miles of here and they all have universities so we get a lot of good shows. I saw Jens the other night and I though, "How wonderful is it that this angel from Sweden would come and sing for me in Ohio?". Cool, non?
Hey guess what? Cursive is playing here April 5! Pretty cool. I found a torrent that is uploading all their albums. I'll give you a scouting report after I go. Cheers, Matt
Thanks for the come back. Yeah we have a couple of great local venues for up and coming bands, and London is only 70 miles away. Just picked on The Dodos too! Keep in touch eh!?
The Swedish Fish Experiment are close friends of mine. We all grew up together. I'll tell them that you enjoy their music!
Thanks for listening! I'll send you more tracks sometime. ;)
glad you like my taste in music, I also like yours that's why I added you :). Evangelicals are good aren't they... yes I had checked out Encre previously it is good but anything from the beautiful man that is thee stranded horse would be i think x
Frankly my dear, I don't remember. I think I mainly wanted to thank you for the tip. "Tiny People" is great kind of feels like The Kills meets Mat & Kim. Low-fi retro pop.Big thumbs up on your Walkmen rec too. I second that emotion!! :D
I just got "Mr. Understanding". Another great Pete And The Pirates. I am a big fan quite quickly. Pete Pirates. Quite Quickly. Alliterative and repetitive. He He.
I love the readymade as well. You and Jude have the best recs on here. I have enjoyed a lot of the stuff, but haven't been able to find some of it. Thanks! Matt
Thank you very much for the compliments, I have actual CD's of my album, but right now the best thing for you to do is download them from iTunes/digital stores
thanks again for checking out the music I really appreciate it :-D

Thanks for the comments. Nice meeting you. Jude turned me onto Ethan Lipton originally. Cracks me up when I hear it. I am enjoying your stuff a lot. Still digesting. Will let you know my favorites when I get further along.....=)

Apr 21 2008, 02:18 PM
Ah yes, Pete and the Pirates are great! Respect! And pleased to meet you!
Apr 17 2008, 04:27 PM
Consider me educated. I don't really listen to a lot of that stuff. I like God Speed, and Explosions in the Sky, but usually I stick to music with vocals so that I can sing along and annoy my neighbors. BTW Your English is fine, you don't type with an accent at all!
Apr 17 2008, 01:10 PM
Oh My God..... Tell me it's not so! I finally found something for YOU to download and enjoy that you did not already have my little Indie/Pop Princess! LoL.... I'm glad you enjoyed it. It hits a little close to home right now, but it is a great tune. Best, Matt
Apr 16 2008, 05:26 PM
Yes, loved it. Did you listen to Destroyer's new one? Trouble In Dreams? It's so good. I'm glad to be your friend too. I just discovered Quinn Walker, cause they will be playing in my country with Cocorosie and Rio en Medio, and in they're page there you where next to the amazing Supermoxie! Seeya

Apr 15 2008, 04:18 PM
I had to call my sister (long distance) and tell her there is a band called the Panty Lions!!!! Sooooo funny!
Apr 15 2008, 03:32 PM
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah i've been to many gigs like that. Brilliant band, but no atmosphere to top the evening off. Shame.
Apr 13 2008, 10:21 PM
This from the guy who listened to three hours of The Replacements the other night. G =)~
Apr 13 2008, 10:19 PM
By post rock I guess you mean things from the vinyl era. I have a lot of albums from that era, but I tend to gravitate to new music. For someone my age older music is less about discovering than remembering, and I'm not very nostalgic by nature.
Apr 12 2008, 06:11 PM
he he j'ai vu fanfarlo hier soir tu es jalouse? he he he
Apr 11 2008, 08:30 PM
I just posted my more than obvious post re: The New Pornographers, but as an addendum... one of the encores was "Don't Bring Me Down" by ELO. Are you a genius or what?.
Apr 11 2008, 12:57 PM

Apr 11 2008, 08:12 AM
Hardboiled connaisseur. But you could say something more. For istance: it was established in 1979 by Matt Johnson.. Uncertain Smile has been voted by an Aussie radio as one the three all time best songs. Last work on 2002, but these days Matt is presenting a new one. Au revoir mon ami.
Apr 10 2008, 03:24 PM
Weell, I see, but... if I said THE THE what would you answer?
Apr 10 2008, 12:42 PM
I don't know Yuppy Flu. I'll check them.
Apr 10 2008, 12:38 PM
b4 asking your friendship I've been visiting your playlist. Your music is more mature than mine, maybe that's why we are so distant. Nonetheless I think that France is fantastique and so we are closer than ever.
Apr 09 2008, 04:11 PM
Hi, welcome
Apr 07 2008, 12:41 PM
"The Glass Bead Game" est un roman de Hermann Hesse. En français "Le Jeu des perles de verre". Mon nom dans le français... La joueuse des perles de verre. Well a bit of a boring description... Mais c'est moi. =)
Apr 05 2008, 05:13 PM

You have good taste in music and you make me laugh. Bravo! There are 4 major cities within a hundred miles of here and they all have universities so we get a lot of good shows. I saw Jens the other night and I though, "How wonderful is it that this angel from Sweden would come and sing for me in Ohio?". Cool, non?
