No. No, not really. An "s" at the end of the name is a given with any band that has "the" in front of their name and multiple people in the band. NIce contribution though.
They certainly are very berry awesome. What I don't get is how people can make a connection between the strokes and the shins...sure they both begin with the letter "s" but other than that, they're not the same thing...not eeeeeven close, the strokes have more in common with carpet fibers...

Well, when I take my contacts out at night, I have to use my glasses to see, or if I’m swimming I have to wear glasses to the pool, or if I’m too lazy to put my contacts back on my eyeballs, I use my glasses…in short. it’s just easier to manage with glasses :) and plus I don’t mind looking old and nerdy, it’s a very unique and refreshing look nowadays with all the fakeness and plastic surgery goin’ on…lol Cookie? Oh wow, you’ve never gone sledding??? How do you live???? lol Yeah, the attire is the best part…taking it off though has always been a struggle for me because it gets all wet from the snow and there are tons and tons of layers…and then it really sucks when you wear too much and then fall down because sometimes it’s really hard to get up…like a turtle on it’s back :) haha don’t worry about rubbing it in. I would too if I had some kind of experience in mt climbing! Those kinds of things make for great pickup lines haha jk jk!!! Oh boy, it would be awesome in New Zealand…though something tells me I wouldn’t be able to fit in any of the homes in the shire lol I’d want to trace Gollum’s footsteps! Actually no…no I wouldn’t…haha so we’re both sick sick people then. We should make a sick people club…and I might have allergies too…I’ve never noticed until I got my current job where I work outside all of the time. I’m constantly sneezing and my nose runs sometimes :S Moving is always exciting, but unclean places make me nervous xD
Oh, I know!!! :D Winter is my favorite season, but a lot of people here hate it because of the cold temps and the snow and ice :S but I LOVE IT!!! I mean, come on, snow angels and sledding?! Those are some of the top fun things to do with snow! haha Well, I've never really been that close to mountains...I live in the midwest so it's pretty much flat...and I don't really get out much. but I'm sure it's great! It's quickly becoming one of my goals in life with the way you keep talking about it. haha Ugh, it's kinda sad to say that the closest I've been to mountains would have to be vicariously through the Lord of the Rings trilogy...which reminds me of how much I really want to vacation in New Zealand!
I hear ya sister, Hot + Humid = NO. I wish it was winter all year...so then it would snow ALL YEAR! :D That would make me one happy person. haha You sound like my mom. She is mexican and has a dark complexion, so she is really scared of being exposed to the sun. She makes me wear sunblock wherever I go! Mountain climbing sounds really fun!!! I love being out in the wilderness and such. It makes me feel cool :) lol Ya know, I don't think I've ever met an asian girl who wasn't skinny...pretty much all asians I know have small hips(which I would kill for) and no fat. :) and american girls gain weight fast, most girls at my school are a bit on the chunky side, and very few are athletic or muscular. haha It would help if we didn't have so many fast food restaurants around our school! Ick, that stuff grosses me out! :S
Uhhh...YEAH THAT'S FREAKISH!!! haha jk :D It's all good, I turn red at first and then it tans almost immediately. I was wearing sunblock though, so I don't know what happened :S haha NO. Sports and Skippy DO NOT mix well. I was pretty good at soccer, so I played that and I used to be a runner, and then I just kinda stopped...I don't know why. I'm relatively thin so I guess I just didn't see the reason to exercise. I do now!!! It's weird though because I look like I'm slightly muscular but I'm really not strong at all...I think it's hereditary? My dad's side of the family is really thin and muscular and so am I..so yeah...I mean I'm not complaining or anything, it's just weird how that stuff works. anyways!...do you play any sports?
AHHHH!!! Marching band nearly killed me today!!! It's been like a year since I've properly done any form of physical exercise...and I got sunburned on my shoulders :( There, now I'm done complaining for the rest of the season :) Apologies, Zalbs, for having to deal with that! lol

Well, last I checked I was in Illinois, but that could have changed within the last 2 minutes...nah that's impossible =] I had an obsession period with the Strokes, if you couldn't already tell, they are my most played artist. Which, by the way, only happened because I was listening to them and then fell asleep(somehow) and it went through all 3 CDs that I have from them. I don't really like listening to the most recent CD though, it didn't wow me as much. I think the first one is the best :D

Oh...well that's embarrassing...I thought everyone played solitaire while listening to music? ;)...anyways...it's a must, listen to "chutes too narrow" and play solitaire and tell me how relaxing it is...it's super relaxing...oh but you have to play the computer version of solitaire, otherwise it takes too much time and it starts getting stressful shuffling cards and then before you know it, you are not relaxing...in fact, before you know it, you're smacking someone in the face...true story by the way...
I recommend every single song they have...I LOVE IT ALL!!! haha I pretty much wore out the "Chutes Too Narrow" album, that was the first one I owned and I just couldn't stop! I know it sounds ridiculous, but I would just sit and listen for hours while playing solitaire, strange phase right? I don't even remember when I first heard them...

That's pretty darn cool. I wish I could speak different languages or at least understand them, but i only speak english and a little spanish because my grandma doesn't know english, so we have to communicate somehow! Sure, i don't mind. It's not really a bad experience, just multiple weird ones...but there are a bunch of people at my school who are really into anime and they can get carried away sometimes. Like this one girl brought like idk "anime porn(?)" to school and was showing everybody and it was a mess...she's kind of a weird one though...and the other anime people are always making comments on how "hot" some anime characters are, and i'm like...they are not real people, why would you say that? then they dress up a lot in costumes and stuff and most of them don't bathe regularly. and just a lot of other weird things that creep me out. but generally, they're just off...i hope i didn't just offend anyone! Sorry!

haha yah of course guitars are universally cool, that's why i'm trying to play it so i can boost my coolness status...it needs a lot of work, the whole french horn thing brought it down a couple of notches haha yeppers the horn is just so massive, and like irregularly shaped it's hard to take it anywhere without "accidentally" smacking someone in the leg...alphorns...uhhh they are HUGE...it's like a long slender instrument that ummmm well i don't know much about it, but we use it in horn choir and it's super fun to play...sorry my descriptions are a bit unhelpful...google it! haha
yep horns horns horns! have you ever seen an alphorn? SO COOL!... but i'm STILL trying guitar and now i'm taking a crack at bass...but i did play piano back in the elementary days, and i stil dabble a bit with that...flute is sweet, i was almost a flute player...once....but i picked horn instead cuz it looked cooler, nevermind the fact that it's a lot harder to carry around school and places...and a lot more difficult to play :) haha man! i wish i could play violin! that would rock!
Well, in regular band i play the french horn and in marching band it's the mellophone, which is like an oversized trumpet...or a skinny baritone...which ever way you prefer to visualize it :) do you play any type of instruments?...oh and yeah big transitions are awesome, i like going from Nick Drake to Bad Brains...freaks me out!
Well that's cool, in our marching band at school we did an entire show based on music by Gershwin, it was super tough to learn...but i got through it! Haha what a transition, now you're listening to Aerosmith!

They certainly are very berry awesome. What I don't get is how people can make a connection between the strokes and the shins...sure they both begin with the letter "s" but other than that, they're not the same thing...not eeeeeven close, the strokes have more in common with carpet fibers...

Well, when I take my contacts out at night, I have to use my glasses to see, or if I’m swimming I have to wear glasses to the pool, or if I’m too lazy to put my contacts back on my eyeballs, I use my glasses…in short. it’s just easier to manage with glasses :) and plus I don’t mind looking old and nerdy, it’s a very unique and refreshing look nowadays with all the fakeness and plastic surgery goin’ on…lol Cookie? Oh wow, you’ve never gone sledding??? How do you live???? lol Yeah, the attire is the best part…taking it off though has always been a struggle for me because it gets all wet from the snow and there are tons and tons of layers…and then it really sucks when you wear too much and then fall down because sometimes it’s really hard to get up…like a turtle on it’s back :) haha don’t worry about rubbing it in. I would too if I had some kind of experience in mt climbing! Those kinds of things make for great pickup lines haha jk jk!!! Oh boy, it would be awesome in New Zealand…though something tells me I wouldn’t be able to fit in any of the homes in the shire lol I’d want to trace Gollum’s footsteps! Actually no…no I wouldn’t…haha so we’re both sick sick people then. We should make a sick people club…and I might have allergies too…I’ve never noticed until I got my current job where I work outside all of the time. I’m constantly sneezing and my nose runs sometimes :S Moving is always exciting, but unclean places make me nervous xD

Oh, I know!!! :D Winter is my favorite season, but a lot of people here hate it because of the cold temps and the snow and ice :S but I LOVE IT!!! I mean, come on, snow angels and sledding?! Those are some of the top fun things to do with snow! haha Well, I've never really been that close to mountains...I live in the midwest so it's pretty much flat...and I don't really get out much. but I'm sure it's great! It's quickly becoming one of my goals in life with the way you keep talking about it. haha Ugh, it's kinda sad to say that the closest I've been to mountains would have to be vicariously through the Lord of the Rings trilogy...which reminds me of how much I really want to vacation in New Zealand!

I hear ya sister, Hot + Humid = NO. I wish it was winter all year...so then it would snow ALL YEAR! :D That would make me one happy person. haha You sound like my mom. She is mexican and has a dark complexion, so she is really scared of being exposed to the sun. She makes me wear sunblock wherever I go! Mountain climbing sounds really fun!!! I love being out in the wilderness and such. It makes me feel cool :) lol Ya know, I don't think I've ever met an asian girl who wasn't skinny...pretty much all asians I know have small hips(which I would kill for) and no fat. :) and american girls gain weight fast, most girls at my school are a bit on the chunky side, and very few are athletic or muscular. haha It would help if we didn't have so many fast food restaurants around our school! Ick, that stuff grosses me out! :S

Uhhh...YEAH THAT'S FREAKISH!!! haha jk :D It's all good, I turn red at first and then it tans almost immediately. I was wearing sunblock though, so I don't know what happened :S haha NO. Sports and Skippy DO NOT mix well. I was pretty good at soccer, so I played that and I used to be a runner, and then I just kinda stopped...I don't know why. I'm relatively thin so I guess I just didn't see the reason to exercise. I do now!!! It's weird though because I look like I'm slightly muscular but I'm really not strong at all...I think it's hereditary? My dad's side of the family is really thin and muscular and so am I..so yeah...I mean I'm not complaining or anything, it's just weird how that stuff works. anyways!...do you play any sports?

Well, last I checked I was in Illinois, but that could have changed within the last 2 minutes...nah that's impossible =] I had an obsession period with the Strokes, if you couldn't already tell, they are my most played artist. Which, by the way, only happened because I was listening to them and then fell asleep(somehow) and it went through all 3 CDs that I have from them. I don't really like listening to the most recent CD though, it didn't wow me as much. I think the first one is the best :D

Oh...well that's embarrassing...I thought everyone played solitaire while listening to music? ;)...anyways...it's a must, listen to "chutes too narrow" and play solitaire and tell me how relaxing it is...it's super relaxing...oh but you have to play the computer version of solitaire, otherwise it takes too much time and it starts getting stressful shuffling cards and then before you know it, you are not relaxing...in fact, before you know it, you're smacking someone in the face...true story by the way...

Well you lucky duck! You don't really have to put up with the extreme anime folks as much then. But yeah if I were ever into hentai I would be VERY discreet about it. It's not something your everyday person on the street would smile upon! Yes, long comments are the very best, I like to type them but I like to read them even more. Nothing makes me smile more than when I get a super long comment because it shows that the person who wrote it actually takes interest in what I say and they care about the conversation! But ok i can kinda understand if they say "handsome" or "pretty" because it's kind of like judging art, but when you say "hot" or hint at or make sexual remarks towards the characters...it's REALLY CREEPY. I would never judge them too harshly or shun them though because that's just plain mean, but it gets old pretty fast, especially when they don't shut up about different animes...but anyway i'm glad you're not an anime freak! :) ...Well I'm still in high school so it's easier on my schedule to work than say a college student. and we are on summer break right now so it's even easier to work. :) and i'm slowly raking in oodles and oodles of cash! WHOO! Now i have money to see more bands!

That's pretty darn cool. I wish I could speak different languages or at least understand them, but i only speak english and a little spanish because my grandma doesn't know english, so we have to communicate somehow! Sure, i don't mind. It's not really a bad experience, just multiple weird ones...but there are a bunch of people at my school who are really into anime and they can get carried away sometimes. Like this one girl brought like idk "anime porn(?)" to school and was showing everybody and it was a mess...she's kind of a weird one though...and the other anime people are always making comments on how "hot" some anime characters are, and i'm like...they are not real people, why would you say that? then they dress up a lot in costumes and stuff and most of them don't bathe regularly. and just a lot of other weird things that creep me out. but generally, they're just off...i hope i didn't just offend anyone! Sorry!

haha yah of course guitars are universally cool, that's why i'm trying to play it so i can boost my coolness status...it needs a lot of work, the whole french horn thing brought it down a couple of notches haha yeppers the horn is just so massive, and like irregularly shaped it's hard to take it anywhere without "accidentally" smacking someone in the leg...alphorns...uhhh they are HUGE...it's like a long slender instrument that ummmm well i don't know much about it, but we use it in horn choir and it's super fun to play...sorry my descriptions are a bit unhelpful...google it! haha

SO COOL!... but i'm STILL trying guitar and now i'm taking a crack at bass...but i did play piano back in the elementary days, and i stil dabble a bit with that...flute is sweet, i was almost a flute player...once....but i picked horn instead cuz it looked cooler, nevermind the fact that it's a lot harder to carry around school and places...and a lot more difficult to play :) haha man! i wish i could play violin! that would rock!
